The Seafood Prix d’Elite competition was first held in 2001 and has since grown to become known as one of the most important places to launch new products into the seafood industry and gain world-wide recognition. The Seafood Prix d’Elite names the best new retail and foodservice seafood products of the year and offers special awards for health and nutrition, retail packaging, originality, convenience and seafood product line.

 

The 2011 nominees have been already announced. Participants at European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe will have the chance to source the newest and most innovative products presented as the competition takes place alongside the European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe.

 

The European Seafood Exposition is the world's largest seafood fair. Each year this fair attracts buyers and sellers from over 140 countries around the world. With over 1600 exhibitors, the European Seafood Exposition is the global can't-miss fair for the seafood industry.

 

More than 200 companies from 22 countries fill the Seafood Processing Europe exhibit hall. This is the place to find the equipment, processes, services, and technology you need for getting seafood from dock to market.
