In 1989, Messe Sinsheim GmbH was founded as a subsidiary of P. E. Schall GmbH on an area covering 860,000 square feet of floor space which had previously accommodated a manufacturing company. In the years that followed, existing infrastructure advantages were exploited in order to launch specialised technical trade fairs, and to continuously expand the trade fair centre in accordance with exhibition floor space demand. During the course of three construction phases, Messe Sinsheim was expanded from 100,000 to 430,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space in six trade fair halls. An integrated convention centre provides 2000 participants with ultramodern facilities and seminar technology.
The year 2007 represents a milestone in the history of the Schall group of companies. Paul Eberhard Schall will celebrate â45 Years of Schallâ, and the large trade fairs BlechExpo and Motek will move from Messe Sinsheim to the new Stuttgart Exhibition Centre as a result of continuously rising demands for exhibition floor space, followed by the Control technical trade fair in the year 2008.
